I can do basically anything with typed or hand-written text. Sorry, but I am unable to work with audio only at this time.

Types of Payment Accepted:

Paypal (preferred, but keep in mind that an additional small fee will be added to the total. I use this site to calculate it.)
Credit/Debit card (via Paypal, but you don't need an account with them)
Cash (risky, but I've never had a problem with it)

Trades (doujinshi or other merch)

How to Commission Me:

Send an e-mail with links/attachments to the files you'd like me to translate.
Be sure to include certain details (i.e., SFX included? Retain honorifics [-san, -chan, -kun, etc.]? Typesetting or plain-text only?) and any other special requests. The foreword/afterword are generally omitted as well, so please specify if you want me to include them.
If I accept the job, I will send you a quote for the full price.
(For Paypal) If you agree to proceed, DO NOT SEND PAYMENT IMMEDIATELY. Simply reply back and wait for me to send you an invoice (Because of how Paypal works now, this step is important!)
Please pay at least half up-front. I will also accept payment in installments if you're more comfortable with that.
Once I receive your payment, I will start working on your translation. Depending on the queue and the size of your request, it can take anywhere from hours to weeks. The average time for a fully-edited 20-40 page doujinshi is about a month.
The final translation documents can be sent in virtually any format you wish. I can send them directly as e-mail attachments or upload them to a file locker of your choice (Dropbox, Mega, etc.). I generally save images in .PNG or hi-JPG format and pack them in a .RAR archive, and my transcripts are usually saved as .RTF files.

Pricing Rates:

Text translation is $.02 per Japanese character (that's equivalent to $1.00 per 50 characters, $2.00 per 100 characters, or $20.00 per 1000). I use the program NJStar to calculate the number of kanji in the transcript. Punctuation, SFX, furigana, half-width and other minor characters (such as chōonpu and sokuon) are not counted toward the full price.

Transcription only (Kanji to Romaji, without translation) is $.01 per character (a 50% discount).

Extras:

Cleaning/Typesetting: for image files (made with Photoshop): $0.25 per page

SFX Repainting: $0.50 per page for monochrome/black and white, $1.00 for full-color.

Subtitling (made with Aegisub): $1.00 per minute of video.

Video encoding is optional and free of charge.

Rules, General Guidelines and Stuff to Keep in Mind:

If attaching images, please make sure they are clear and large enough to be read! Scans should be at least 300dpi. Photos are also accepted.
If you wish to do the typesetting yourself, I would suggest labeling each panel with numbers so that they're easier to refer to from the transcript.
Patrons are free to cancel at anytime, but any work that is already finished is expected to be paid for.
A large project can be divided up in installments and paid for separately.
There are no restrictions on adult content. However, the commissioner must be 18 years or older.
I generally post most of my completed translations for others to enjoy, and the commissioner is not identified unless they wish to be. If you would prefer to keep your translation private, please let me know.
If you would like to use any of my translations as a base to use for another language, feel free to go ahead, but please ask me first and give credit where it is due.
